Shipping FAQ

Where do we ship?

We ship to the following countries:

  • North America - United States, Canada, Mexico
  • Europe - Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UK
  • Asia - China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea
  • Australia & New Zealand
Sorry, we do not ship to South America anymore due to the exceptionally long delivery times (over 6 months for priority!).  If you don't see your country listed here, please email me and I'll see what I can do.

How fast will I get my stuff?

We ship exclusively with USPS and we usually process shipments once or twice a week depending on volume of orders (unless we're out of town - in that case, we'll ship as soon as we're back). Once the orders have been shipped...

If you're in the United States, please add:

    • 1-5 business days for Priority (based on your proximity to Washington state)
    • 2 business days for Priority Express

    If you're international, please add:

    • 2-8 weeks (or more) for First Class
    • 1-4 weeks (or more) for Priority

How are customs and duties handled?

We fill out all customs forms accurately because we don't want to receive any fines (locally or abroad) for not properly labeling our shipments.  It's very rare to receive additional charges, however, it is your responsibility to pay for any duties, taxes, or fees imposed on imported goods by your home country.  Unfortunately, these types of additional costs are at the sole discretion of your government, so we cannot give you any type of estimate regarding what they might be.  Please check with your local customs authorities for more information.

Why is my mailing label all gross and American looking without the sweet accents and/or swirly bits above and/or below my usually awesome foreign letters?

USPS won't let me complete a mailing label with special characters.  It would be cool if you left them out of your info when you order.  But, if you forget, I will just take them out and replace them with the closest looking regular old boring letter.  Sorry!!

What's up with First Class International shipping?

This method is the cheapest for international shipments.  If you live in a country with a well developed postal system, it's not as bad as you might think.  If you have efficient customs & postal systems you can receive your package in about 2 weeks and sometimes there will be tracking updates.  Here are some important things to know about selecting First Class International mail:

    • Wildly variable delivery times - anywhere from 2 weeks to over 2 months
    • May or may not have tracking
    • No insurance

By selecting First Class International shipping, you automatically agree and understand that we cannot offer any refunds for lost items (due to lack of insurance), that your order can take a very long time (2 months or more!) to be delivered, and that there will be no tracking or delivery status updates after it has been shipped.

    Will there be tracking?

Unfortunately, accurate tracking is only available for orders shipped within the United States.  You can usually get tracking information if you're located in a major international destination, but the tracking updates are slow or potentially non-existent.
